ALLIED-Respiratory Therapist (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary for optimal outcomes.
Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for all treatments and progress.
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Contribute to achieving departmental targets and performance metrics.
Analyze patient data to assess treatment effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Educate patients and families on respiratory therapy procedures and equipment use.
Ensure all respiratory therapy equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in respiratory therapy practices.
Provide support and guidance to junior staff and new team members.
Experience/Qualifications Valid Massachusetts state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.
Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in a hospital setting.
Strong analytical skills for patient data assessment and treatment adjustment.
Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate patient records.
Proficiency in using respiratory therapy equipment and technology.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
