ABC LOL, LLC is looking for a nurturing and experienced

Lead Infant Teacher

to join our team. The Lead Infant Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for infants (ages 0-12 months). The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a deep understanding of infant development. This position requires a strong ability to work closely with parents, caregivers, and fellow educators to ensure that each infant receives the highest quality of care.

Duties

Develop and implement an age-appropriate curriculum that promotes the physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development of infants. Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where infants can explore, learn, and grow. Ensure that all safety, health, and hygiene standards are met, including diapering, feeding, and daily care routines. Observe and document each infant’s development, milestones, and behavior, providing feedback to parents as needed. Work closely with other staff members to create a collaborative and supportive team environment. Communicate effectively with parents about their infant’s progress, needs, and any concerns. Plan and organize age-appropriate activities that support the growth and development of infants, such as sensory play and language development. Supervise and care for infants during daily routines, including naps, meals, and playtime. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that is conducive to learning and exploration. Support the professional growth of assistant teachers and other staff by providing guidance and training. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, center policies, and best practices in infant care.

Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred) or 21 college credits in Early Childhood Education Minimum of 1 years of experience working with infants in a childcare or early education setting. Knowledge of infant development and age-appropriate care practices. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire). VT Orientation training upon hire Mandated reporting taken upon hire Civil rights training upon hire Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with infants. Background check and fingerprint clearance (required).
