South Portland, ME Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Requisition #: 1436

Responsibilities: The REI Medical Coordinator will work in conjunction with the nurses and physicians to ensure the smooth daily flow of the clinical practice. Daily duties include but are not limited to the following: Coordinate clinics for physicians seeing patients in conjunction with the nursing staff Sees patients in clinic with the physician and performs basic functions such as clinical values, enters into EMR Performs IUIs under the direction of the clinical management Stocks exam rooms/sterilizes instruments Maintains appropriate BLS certification Chart Preparation for consults Medical records review Maintains logbooks: i.e.:
QC/Autoclave/Pathology/UPT Maintain Biohazard Waste disposal: empty/restock rooms, packaging & disposal. Supplies: Maintain updated lists/Check par levels/dates all supplies/watch expiration dates.
Communication Documentation in EMR is complete, legible, accurate, and concise Communicate with rest of staff if issues arise Speaks in a pleasant, calm voice when interacting with patients and co-workers Always maintain patient confidentiality in and out of the office
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Able to handle multiple tasks at one time in an efficient, accurate and calm manner EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Office OB/Gyn and or Infertility experience highly preferred Diploma/Certificate
