Overview
The Director of Patient Engagement, SDM Clinical Affairs at Boston University is responsible for providing leadership, process development, management and general oversight of patient engagement activities across GSDM. The Director conducts investigations, provides resolutions, and meets with community stakeholders to address questions. The Director leads the development and implementation of training and patient resolution in partnership with the assigned department. The Director of Patient Engagement plays a critical role in the overall success of patient care throughout GSDM and in the development of patient interaction with current students and faculty. Responsibilities
Provide leadership and strategic direction for patient engagement and conflict resolution within GSDM. Develop and implement processes for patient engagement, investigations, and resolutions. Interact with community stakeholders to answer questions and gather feedback. Develop training programs and operational plans in partnership with the assigned department. Support patient care improvements and foster positive patient interactions with students and faculty. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; J.D. preferred, in Mediation/Healthcare Law. Employment Details
