Talarico for Texas is hiring a Scheduler to join James Talarico’s US Senate campaign. This is a full-time, paid position perfect for someone who enjoys people and building systems to keep teams organized. Responsibilities

Calendar Management: Build, maintain, and own all aspects of the daily and long-term schedule, balancing political, fundraising, press, social media, travel, and personal commitments. Briefing Prep: Coordinate briefing materials for all meetings and events, ensuring the candidate is equipped with relevant background, goals, and talking points. Travel Planning: Manage travel logistics, including transportation, lodging, and on-the-ground movements for the candidate, the road team, and senior staff. Communication: Prioritize scheduling requests and serve as the main point of contact for the candidate’s availability to external groups and internal departments. Flexibility: Adapt schedule quickly to respond to breaking political events, campaign priorities, or unexpected changes.

Requirements Experience in political campaigns, government offices, or fast-paced

scheduling/administrative

roles. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to juggle many moving pieces under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills; professional and tactful in dealing with elected officials, donors, volunteers, and community members. Exhibits discretion and sound judgment in handling sensitive political, personal, and confidential information. Ability to anticipate needs, troubleshoot problems, and think several steps ahead. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to the mission, values, and success of the Talarico for Texas campaign. Comfortable with nontraditional hours, reflecting the pace and demands of a statewide campaign. A sense of humor and resilience — the job will be demanding, but rewarding.
