Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic

Head of Construction and Development

to lead all facets of our real estate development, design, and construction operations. This executive will be responsible for delivering multifamily, industrial, data center, retail, and office projects from

concept design through construction and redevelopment completion . The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of

design insight, construction execution expertise, entitlement and development strategy , with a strong background in both real estate development companies and general contracting. A

Master’s degree in Construction Management, Real Estate Development, Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related field

is highly preferred, along with proven leadership experience managing large-scale projects. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the full lifecycle of development projects, ensuring design excellence, construction quality, and alignment with company goals, schedules, and budgets. Oversee site selection, feasibility studies, due diligence, design coordination, permitting, construction execution, and project delivery. Champion design vision and architectural integrity, while ensuring projects remain financially feasible and technically sound. Direct and coordinate activities of architects, engineers, consultants, general contractors, and internal development teams. Implement and enforce best-in-class design and construction management standards. Integrate innovative techniques including

modular design and construction

to enhance efficiency and quality. Establish and maintain project budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies for projects ranging from tens to hundreds of millions of dollars. Serve as a trusted liaison with investors, municipalities, internal stakeholders, and external partners. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of project managers, design managers, construction professionals, and consultants. Monitor and report on both design and construction performance to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability. Stay ahead of evolving trends, codes, sustainability practices, and technologies influencing real estate development and design. Qualifications

Master’s degree in Construction Management, Real Estate Development, Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field (preferred). Bachelor of Science in Construction Science, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (required). 10+ years of progressive experience in real estate development, construction management, and design leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven track record of delivering

multimillion-dollar, design-driven projects

on time and on budget across asset classes. Deep expertise in managing both

design development and construction execution

for multifamily, industrial, data center, and office properties. Demonstrated experience with

modular and prefabricated design/construction methodologies . Strong financial and analytical skills with an ability to assess project feasibility and manage capital deployment. Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. High level of integrity, strategic thinking, and operational excellence. A curious mindset and lover of life. Preferred Skills

Experience in scaling development platforms and/or expanding into new markets. Proficiency in both construction and design management software (e.g., Procore, Revit, AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project). Knowledge of LEED, sustainable design, and energy-efficient building systems. Compensation
