Shipping And Receiving Clerk
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Shipping and Receiving Clerk located in Dallas, Texas. Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for processing inbound and outbound shipment activities. Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM What a typical day looks like: Verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; checks against suppliers count and immediately reports discrepancies to carriers, supervisor, and purchasing department per company policy. Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions. Stage received material and product in appropriate location. Create shipping and receiving receipts within system. Prepares products and bills of lading for shipments; stages product in appropriate staging area for pick up by shipping carrier. Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks in a safe manner. Performs other related duties, as assigned.
