Job Position: HR Coordinator
Location: Batavia, IL 60510
Pay Rate: $23.00/hr
Shift: 1st shift
Description: Job Title: HR Coordinator Position Summary: The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for assisting with day-to-day HR functions including employee relations, recruiting support, onboarding, benefits administration, HR data management, and compliance. The HR Coordinator ensures HR processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the first point of contact for general HR inquiries from employees and managers. • Support full-cycle recruitment activities including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications. • Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation, and completion of required paperwork. • Maintain employee records and HR databases to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Process employee changes such as promotions, transfers, and terminations. • Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and employee questions. • Track and manage time-off requests, attendance records, and leave of absence documentation. • Assist with HR reporting, compliance audits, and data analysis as needed. • Support employee engagement initiatives, trainings, and HR programs. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. Qualifications: • 1-3 years of HR or administrative experience preferred. • Knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, and HRIS systems a plus. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
