Data Entry Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in our systems to ensure operational efficiency and data integrity. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Input data into various databases, spreadsheets, and software programs with accuracy and speed. Regularly update and maintain records to ensure all information is current and accurate. Verify data entries for completeness and correct any inconsistencies or errors. Data Quality and Accuracy: Compare entered data with original documents to detect errors and resolve discrepancies. Conduct regular quality checks to confirm the accuracy of information in the databases. Follow standard procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with data integrity standards. Record Organization: Organize and maintain both electronic and physical document files for easy retrieval. Retrieve data and prepare reports as required for department needs. Collaboration and Communication: Communicate with internal teams to obtain missing or additional information when needed. Follow instructions from managers and supervisors to complete tasks in a timely manner. General Administrative Support: Assist with additional clerical duties, such as filing, scanning, and sorting documents as necessary. Handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred. Previous experience in a data entry role or similar administrative position is a plus. Strong proficiency in typing with excellent accuracy and speed. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry software. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
