We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, a high level of organization, and the ability to anticipate and resolve issues efficiently. This position requires accuracy, multitasking, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. The company currently uses ADP for payroll processing but is planning to transition to Workday around the start of the new year. Responsibilities: Manage semi-monthly payroll processing for 1,0001,500 employees across domestic and international locations. Handle payroll for U.S.-based employees, including expatriates on split pay and consultants in local offices. Review and upload overtime schedules into the ADP system. Calculate pro-rated salaries for new hires, terminations, and employees on leave. Maintain accurate records for employee banking details, tax documentation, and payroll backup files. Audit payroll output reports, investigate system discrepancies, and apply necessary corrections in the payroll database. Monitor payroll status reports and oversee scheduled and retroactive deductions; coordinate with HR and Benefits teams as needed. Address payroll-related inquiries from Office Administrators and Department Managers. Run interface files to facilitate data exchange between HR, Payroll, and Benefits systems. Prepare payroll funding schedules for Treasury and distribute payroll reports to Accounting and the Pension Coordinator. Upload general ledger output files to the 3E accounting system. Perform other related duties as required to support business operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in payroll processing. Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Preferred experience with ADP systems such as Vantage HCM, iReports, ADP Reporting, and ADP GL. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain payroll procedures to management. Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team; must demonstrate high ethical standards and professional integrity. Willingness to work overtime during payroll processing periods, as well as during quarterly and year-end deadlines, often with little or no notice. Experience in accounting is a plus. Experience with Kronos Time & Attendance System is a plus. Familiarity with Workday is a plus. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.65/hr.
