Primary Purpose of Position:

Do you enjoy our state parks and working as an office manager? The NC State Parks has an Administrative Specialist I position available. This position provides administrative support to the Park's Superintendent by managing business and office administration functions, to include communication, budget, human resources, purchasing/accounting, and records management. Positions serves as a liaison between parks program management, district superintendents, and parks staff.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Serve as liaison between the budget office and application/database staff, as a 'subject matter expert'. Track and report on expenditures and revenues for a variety of purposes from a variety of sources. Acquired at a to develop reports from a variety of data sources. Assist/advise operations at the park level related to creating and auditing bank deposits and utilizing the Central Reservation System (CRS) to process payments for reservations and retail sales. Interpret and explain state and parks policies, procedures and regulations. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, officials, and the public. Position/Physical Requirements:

Must have a valid driver's license issued from within the United States or be able to obtain one within

90 days

Demonstrated work experience in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
