Position Title: Call Center Rep

Customer Service Representative – Call Center (Healthcare)

Job Description:

Join a dynamic call center team providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare environment. As a Customer Service Representative, you will handle a high volume of inbound and follow-up calls, assisting customers with prior authorization inquiries, general questions, and confidential healthcare information. This role requires strong attention to detail, accurate data entry, and the ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle 50–100 inbound and follow-up calls daily, depending on complexity.
  • Provide accurate information regarding prior authorizations and general healthcare inquiries.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Enter customer data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Utilize multiple systems and programs to document and update customer interactions.
  • Meet performance metrics focused on quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills:
  • Call Center Experience: Minimum 1 year in a high-volume call center environment.
  • Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare processes.
  • Customer Service: Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to navigate multiple computer systems; minimum typing speed of 30 WPM.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of consistent employment in a call center role within the last 2–3 years.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
