Location: Houston, TX (plus support to multiple other sites) Relocation Assistance: ❌ No Visa Sponsorship: ❌ No Role Summary The Construction Program Scheduler supports our client's construction management and project controls team. This role is responsible for developing, updating, and analyzing project schedules, ensuring projects stay on track and within budget while coordinating with project managers, supervisors, and stakeholders. It’s a hybrid role that combines project scheduling, construction management, and reporting, with a heavy emphasis on Primavera P6 and MS Project. Key Responsibilities Scheduling & Reporting Create and update project schedules weekly. Prepare monthly schedule analyses/status reports for internal and external reviews. Manage schedule baselines, critical path analysis, and resource loading. Monitor and mitigate risks that may affect project delivery timelines. Process Improvement Recommend process improvements for scheduling accuracy and timeliness. Suggest enhancements for scheduling tools and reporting methods. Construction & Project Management Oversee construction scheduling and financial management. Ensure design/specifications meet required codes. Provide quality control and safety oversight. Coordinate with subcontractors. Administrative & Cross-Functional Support Schedule and document meetings. Maintain documentation and liaise with customers. Support integration of scheduling with broader project engineering and controls. Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience). Experience: 4 years project control experience with Primavera P6 (required). 3 years in facilities maintenance, plant operations, or engineering services. 5 years of management experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project. Advanced PC skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Writer, Visio. Formal training in project scheduling techniques/software. Soft Skills: Strong communication skills (written & verbal). Ability to manage multiple priorities in a challenging environment.
