Support Engineering Data Specialist

Boeing is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Support Engineering Data Specialist to join our team at either our Hardwood, MO facility or Fort Walton Beach facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Estimates the impact of proposed changes to publication elements.
  • Collects, researches and analyzes technical source data and specifications, and validates source data based on predefined and developed assumptions.
  • Develops or maintains multiple technical publication elements for all levels of maintenance for a fielded equipment system or subsystem to include theory of operation, flight manuals, testing and troubleshooting procedures, illustrated parts breakdown, removal and installation procedures and schematic diagrams.
  • Coordinates the preparation of illustrative materials.
  • Conducts quality and in process reviews and validations of technical publications.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • General working level knowledge of hydromechanical aircraft systems, subsystems, and components
  • 2 or more years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • A&P license or associate's degree or higher in a technical field of study
  • 4 or more years of experience in military or civilian aircraft maintenance
  • 4 or more years of experience authoring technical publications
  • 4 or more years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, 3D models, wiring diagrams, and interface control documents

Experienced-Level Summary Pay Range: $67,329 - $82,705

Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
