Facility and Practice Overview:
AnMed is actively seeking a fellowship-trained Hematologist/Oncologist for their esteemed Cancer Center located in Anderson, South Carolina. The facility is recognized for its state-of-the-art equipment and has been accredited by the Commission on Cancer since 1984. Situated in a thriving community of approximately 185,000 residents, the center is well-equipped to handle around 1,200 new cancer cases annually, offering a supportive environment with robust oncology services. - Provide outpatient care, with minimal hospital rounds.
- Work full-time Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, including on-call responsibilities.
- Manage practice call for oncology patients without weekend obligations.
- Participate in the rebuilding phase of the practice.
- Handle a patient load averaging 15-25 per day.
- Collaborate with a supportive leadership team and collegial medical staff.
- Utilize Epic EMR and access to nationwide clinical trials.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Medical Oncology (Board Certified preferred).
- Completion of fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology.
- Clean malpractice and licensing history.
- Ability to obtain a South Carolina medical license.
- DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start.
- Visa support for J1 or H1B candidates is welcome.
- South Carolina Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA (to be obtained prior to start).
- CSR/CDS (to be obtained prior to start).
- Board Certification in Hematology/Medical Oncology is highly preferred.
