We are seeking
dedicated Special Education Teachers
to fill multiple full-time positions at both the elementary and high school levels for the 20252026 school year. These roles offer the opportunity to work collaboratively with general education teams and make a meaningful impact on students with a range of needs. Position Overview:
Start Date:
August 13, 2025
End Date:
June 8, 2026
Schedule:
Full-time, MondayFriday
Locations:
Elementary and High School (exact campuses to be determined)
Caseloads:
Approximately 1215 students per classroom
Open Positions:
High School 1 Collaborative (Co-Teaching) position focus on teaching Math (Math certification not required, SPED certification required)
1 Self-Contained classroom
Elementary 2 Collaborative (Co-Teaching) classrooms working with students with
Learning Disabilities, Autism, Traumatic Brain Injuries, and Health Complications
What Youll Do:
Write and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
Provide instruction and support tailored to each students needs
Foster an inclusive, supportive, and effective learning environment
Qualifications:
Active
Virginia teaching license
with Special Education endorsement (required)
Experience with collaborative teaching and/or self-contained classrooms preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
