Quest Global is hiring: Software Test Engineer with Electrical Engineering in Er

What You will Do: 

• Hardware-Software Integration Testing at Sub-System Level.
• Determine and Develop Test Plan based on Customer Specifications
• Write Test Cases based on Test Plan using MagicDraw
• Hands-On/ HITL SIM Lab or Locomotive Testing for Multiple Sub-Systems
• Provide technical recommendations based on engineering expertise, and interpretation of tests and data analysis.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Hardware & Software Integration Testing
• Understanding Test Requirements
• Develop/ Write Test Cases for Multiple Sub-Systems

Desired Skills:

• Understanding of MagicDraw/ ClearQuest
• Strong Analytic & HW Troubleshooting Skills
• Ability to Interact with multiple stakeholders at all the levels.
• Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
• Must be able to board and perform tests on operating heavy equipment.
• Substantial amounts of communication and computer work.
• Must be able to work in a heavily regulated industry with strict adherence to procedures.
• Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
• Typical 8-hour days plus lunch / 40-hour weeks / core (required) with a high probability of overtime/off shift.
• Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.

Pay Range: $62,000-$65,000 per year

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

This role is considered an on-site position located in Erie, PA.

• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. 
• Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
