We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

for a

full-time, in-person position

at a single elementary school site (TK6) in

Mission Viejo, California . This role involves serving a diverse caseload that includes students in

general education, RSP , and a

Moderate/Severe Autism program . The ideal candidate will bring

previous public school experience , a deep understanding of

ASD , and a strong commitment to collaborative practices with school teams and families. This position does

not

accept CFs, SLPAs, or teletherapy (VOCO) applicants. Position Details:

Location:

One school site Mission Viejo, CA

Grade Levels:

TK through 6th grade

Caseload:

General Education, RSP, and Moderate/Severe Autism program

Schedule:

Full-time (on-site)

Start Date:

[Insert Start Date or "ASAP"]

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.

Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with IDEA and district policies.

Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students with a range of needs, including those on the autism spectrum.

Collaborate regularly with special education teams, general education teachers, support staff, and families.

Participate in IEP meetings and maintain thorough, timely documentation.

Contribute to a positive school culture and team-oriented environment.

Required Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Current

California SLP license

AND

California PPS Credential in Speech-Language Pathology .

Minimum of 1 year

of

public school-based experience

required.

Demonstrated experience working with students with

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) , particularly in Mod/Severe programs.

Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams and parents.

Ability to manage a dynamic caseload with professionalism and flexibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in elementary settings (TK6).

Familiarity with various communication modalities, including AAC devices.

Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus but not required.
