Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs and goals Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including general education staff, therapists, and families Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methodologies accordingly Manage classroom behavior through effective positive behavior support techniques (for the behavioral needs role) Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success Qualifications: Valid teaching certification in Special Education for K-12 Experience working with students with behavioral needs preferred for behavioral role Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and behavior management Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families Commitment to student-centered learning and differentiated instruction Location: Millbrook, Alabama (K-12 School Campus) This contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment for educators passionate about special education and student development.
