is seeking experienced
ASE Certified Technicians; top performers can expect to earn up $72 per hour or $260,000 annually.
We are seeking individuals with some to extensive experience, and a strong desire to make the money they deserve.
We are looking for technicians with the ability to diagnose, repair and a true understanding of why we do multi-point inspections on vehicles. What We Offer: Pension 401k Plan Health Insurance Vision and Dental Plan Vacation Time Vehicle Purchase Discount Job Responsibilities: Perform thorough multipoint inspections Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency in accordance with dealership and General Motors standards Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology. Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made. Job Requirements: Technicians (Automotive Mechanic) should be experienced and aware of the current automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success as an Automotive Technician: Minimum of three years of experience as a technician (General Motors preferred not required) Experience with automatic transmission and diesel is a plus Hold a minimum of three Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications Maintain current factory training Hold a valid driver’s license Ability to lift 50 lbs. Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit
