Job Details Responsibilities:
1. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in personal injury cases. 2. Conduct legal research and gather evidence for lawsuits, ensuring all case material is properly documented and organized. 3. Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and other litigation documents. 4. Conduct depositions of parties and witnesses to gather pertinent information for cases. 5. Engage in negotiation and mediation with opposing parties to resolve disputes and reach mutually beneficial agreements. 6. Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 2. Active membership and good standing with the State Bar. 3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Attorney. 4. Proven experience in legal research, legal writing, trial experience, depositions, and mediation. 5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, court personnel, and other attorneys. 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively. 7. Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of reaching favorable settlements for clients.
