Job Details ** Pavement Engineer – Senior, Project, and Associate Levels **
Pavement Engineer – Senior, Project, and Associate Levels to join our growing team of pavement engineers. Types of projects range from high-profile public works infrastructure projects to private developers or residential projects. We also offer state-of-the-art pavement testing and analysis services, including in-house falling weight deflectometer (FWD) and ground penetrating radar (GPR). The Engineer will be assisting with evaluation, design, forensics, and construction projects or tasks such as:
Conduct pavement condition evaluations, field investigations, and testing Perform PCI surveys and support pavement management plans Analyze pavement data and contribute to technical reports Design pavement sections (new and rehabilitated, flexible and rigid) Support or manage construction observation and materials testing Participate in forensic assessments and develop corrective recommendations Use AutoCAD, GIS, and pavement software for design, analysis, and mapping Collaborate with interdisciplinary engineering teams Manage projects, proposals, budgets, and schedules as applicable Key Requirements:
Must have: BS in Civil Engineering with coursework or interest in pavement engineering 0 to 10+ years of pavement-related experience Nice to have:
Hands-on field experience (FWD, GPR, DCP, PCI surveys, etc.) Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, MicroPAVER, StreetSaver, and GPR processing software (e.g., RADAN) Strong report writing and data analysis capabilities EIT certification or California Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred) Master's in Civil Engineering (preferred)
