A bit about us: One of our best law firm partners in California is seeking an experienced labor and employment attorney for there Los Angeles office. Our client is an established, growing midsized firm with multiple office locations across the state. This role includes a flexible hybrid schedule as long as candidates are within the general vicinity of San Diego/La Jolla. The advertised compensation range only includes base salary, and does not factor in additional upside from annual bonuses.
We are seeking attorneys with at least 3 years of experience defending employers in a wide range of employment matters, including single-plaintiff, PAGA, wage and hour, class actions, discrimination, wrongful termination, and more. You'll join a collaborative established team with a mixed of experienced and rising attorneys and be trusted to autonomously handle cases from inception to resolution.
Key responsibilities include:
Defend employment-related claims in state/federal court and arbitration Work directly with clients and develop case strategies from intake through resolution Handle all phases of discovery, depositions, and motion practice (with assistance from law & motion team) Represent clients at mediations, hearings, and trials Provide strategic counsel to clients regarding risk mitigation Develop and maintain relationships with institutional and new clients
