We are seeking an experienced Infusion Pharmacist for a contract assignment in Dallas, Texas. This position offers the opportunity to join a respected infusion pharmacy team and provide critical patient care services.

Position: Infusion Pharmacist
Location: Dallas, TX
Setting: Infusion Pharmacy
Schedule: Day shift, Monday Friday
Assignment Length: 9 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
System: CPR+
Responsibilities: Accept and dispense prescription medications in compliance with regulations
Monitor patient medication compliance and usage patterns
Verify suitability of prescribed medications and ensure safe supply
Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy files
Counsel patients on medications, including dosage, side effects, and interactions
Provide consultation on both prescription and non-prescription medications
Educate patients on use of medical devices (e.g., blood pressure monitors, glucose meters)
Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions as needed
Supervise and support pharmacy staff (technicians, clerks, interns)
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Maintain proper inventory of medications and supplies
Requirements: Active Texas Pharmacist license (required)
IV certification (required)
Prior infusion pharmacy experience (preferred)
Strong clinical knowledge and patient counseling skills
