New Mexico Connections Academy (NMCA) is a tuition-free, virtual public school serving students in grades 4–12 throughout the state. The school is authorized by the New Mexico Public Education Commission, and governed by an independent Governing Council. The school is operated by New Mexico Connections Academy, a government entity, to provide its educational program and other services. NMCA is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement, an accrediting division of AdvancED.

Position Summary and Responsibilities:
Working from our office in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the Receptionist is responsible for daily administrative tasks of the school such as answering phones and emails, receiving visitors, assisting the Principal and teachers with administrative tasks, filing and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Serving as first point of contact for families, staff and visitors
Assisting registrar with filing, data entry and records updates
Managing phone calls, school email inboxes, and front desk duties
Providing clerical support for enrollment and student file preparation
Generating reports;
Scheduling appointments;
Speak with Parents and Students;
Assist school Principal with a wide variety of daily responsibilities; and
Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and web-based applications is essential
Data analysis experience preferred
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Customer focused approach
High degree of flexibility
Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced team environment
Must be able to use a personal electronic device and email address for 2-step authentication
