Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites applications for the position of Advancement Operations and Donor Stewardship Coordinator. This position reports directly to the Senior Director, Advancement Operations, and is located in River Forest, IL. Responsibilities/Duties: Candidates must support and be committed to the mission and identity of Concordia University Chicago, a university of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). Candidates will possess a high level of personal discretion and attention to detail to maintain constituent records in the database. Candidates will take the lead in all aspects of gift entry including entry, gift acknowledgements and the donor Call-and-Thank process. Candidates will take the lead on the stewardship of donors regarding permanent endowments, the annual updates, collaborating with Financial Planning to maintain donor intent, on-campus recognition events, and gathering student thank-you letters for donors. Skill Sets: Exhibits a service mentality toward all stakeholders All communication with stakeholders is effective, professional, accurate, and timely Improves work performance and that of others by being receptive to and appropriately sharing information An eye for detail, solid writing skills, a familiarity with fundraising principles, working knowledge of Microsoft programs; knowledge of CRMs a bonus Minimum Experience Required: 1-2 years fundraising data work, or equivalent, preferred Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree required. Compensation and Benefits: (FULL-TIME) Starting range is dependent upon individual qualifications and experience.
