Warehouse Associate at Elliott Electric Supply

Supports the day to day operations of the Branch providing order and delivery services. Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

• Support the day to day operations of the branch, providing order and delivery services.
• Manage all aspects of warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing products for customer delivery in a safe, orderly manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Able to identify product by size, type, style, color or product code.
• Must be able to read orders and match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.
• Basic math skills and reasoning skills.
• Ability to obtain certification of power-truck equipment.
• Operate inventory control equipment, e.g., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices.
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.
• Safety/compliance: This is a safety-sensitive position; pre-employment drug test required (drugs screened include amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidines per HHS/SAMHSA guidelines).

Physical Requirements

• Able to move/lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to withstand extreme temperatures in a typical warehouse environment; standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing for extended periods.
• May require climbing ladders for top-level selection; vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
