Overview

Varada Consulting, LLC is seeking a full-time Data Analyst Specialist to support enterprise data governance and decision-making initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience developing models, dashboards, and reports to evaluate system usage, data quality, and governance performance. This role requires the ability to perform detailed analysis, conduct Alternatives of Analysis (AoA) assessments, and translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis to evaluate enterprise system performance, catalog accuracy, and data quality.
• Perform Alternatives of Analysis (AoA) assessments, including cost-benefit modeling to support decision-making and policy alignment.
• Design and develop dashboards, metrics, and reports to monitor system usage, governance effectiveness, and data quality trends.
• Synthesize findings into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with program managers, data stewards, and technical teams to align analysis with enterprise objectives.
• Support development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and governance metrics to measure progress against organizational goals.
• Document methodologies, assumptions, and findings to ensure transparency and repeatability of analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data analysis, business analysis, or related analytical roles.
• Strong proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).
• Hands-on experience with data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, or Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and performance measurement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to leadership.
• This position is contingent upon contract award
