Responsibilities include maximizing sales and distribution of all Beverage South (GA/SC) products within the assigned account base. Execute the planning, selling, distribution and reporting functions within the assigned accounts to accomplish performance results against objectives.

Knowledge and Experience

This position requires 2 years sales experience or 2 years of consumer goods experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Candidate must be self-motivated, highly organized and able to demonstrate professional sales and administration skills. Must be goal oriented and able to prioritize multiple goals and strategies. Must be capable of time management, strategic planning, concise communication & strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule and be physically able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds of product regularly.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Maximize retail sales for your assigned accounts through the implementation and execution of established sales and distribution goals.
  • Complete thorough month-end recap of actual performance results against objectives.
  • Work to ensure effective internal communication by concisely discussing facts with relevant co-workers (drivers, sales manager and merchandisers) involved with, or affected by the situation.
  • Utilize data, marketing data, hand held & build sheet data, as well as, strategic planning to ensure proper forecasting, pre-selling and inventory levels. This maximizes effective distribution and eliminates over stock, out of stock and out of date situations.
  • Complies with all state, local and federal laws pertaining to the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverage products. Executes all responsibilities of this position according to Beverage South (GA/SC) Policies and Procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
