Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Tax Accountant located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for tax compliance, tax preparation, financial statements, and general accounting tasks. This role offers an opportunity to specialize in one or more areas of taxation (e.g., corporate, partnership, individual) across multiple industries such as construction, transportation, services, and agriculture. In addition to taxation, the Tax Accountant will be assigned a group of accounts for bookkeeping and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform tax compliance and tax preparation
• Prepare financial statements and perform general accounting tasks
• Possibly specialize in corporate, partnership, or individual taxation across multiple industries
• Manage a group of bookkeeping and financial reporting accounts

Qualifications

• Tax compliance and tax preparation skills
• Experience in tax and financial statements
• Broad accounting knowledge
• Strong analytical skills
• CPA certification is a plus
• EA certification is a plus
• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance
