Overview
LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a client with a search for a staff accountant. They are a nonprofit organization and looking for an accountant with nonprofit experience. This role is onsite near Forest Park, IL and is temporary to hire.
Responsibilities
- Journal entries and account reconciliations for month end close
- General Ledger analysis
- Reconcile credit cards and bank statements
- Assist with the budget process
- Grant accounting, manage and maintain all grants, reporting and filing
- Audit support
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar
- 3 years of prior experience as an accountant in a nonprofit organization
- Grant accounting experience
- Integrity, deadline driven accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
Pay: $27-$30/hour
Pay Details: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour
