Job Description
Weekly Pay
Pay Rate $18 /hr
ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE
Allied Universal Event Services is currently seeking Security Officers to work at HOA (Homeowners Association) properties across the Los Angeles and Hollywood areas.
What You’ll Do:
Access Control:
- Monitor entry and exit points (gates, lobbies, parking garages)
- Verify and authorize visitors, contractors, and deliveries
- Issue visitor passes or log all entries in the visitor management system
Patrolling:
- Conduct routine foot or vehicle patrols throughout the property
- Look out for suspicious activity, safety hazards, open doors/gates, broken lights, etc.
- Ensure all common areas (pools, gyms, parking lots) remain secure
Resident & Visitor Assistance:
- Provide directions and general information
- Assist residents with minor concerns or connect them with property maintenance
- Respond to questions and escalate concerns as needed
Liaison Duties:
- Coordinate with property management, emergency responders, and vendors
- Assist in de-escalating minor resident disputes when appropriate
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must meet any state or local licensing requirements (valid Guard Card preferred)
- Must pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening (additional screenings required if driving company vehicles)
- Strong independent judgment and discretion
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed
