Overview

Basalite Building Products, LLC is one of the largest manufacturers of concrete masonry products in the Western United States. Product lines include structural block, interlocking paving stones, engineered wall systems, retaining walls, ornamental and garden products, and a full range of sack goods. Position: Delivery Driver (non-CDL) – Regular, full-time. Location: Nearest Major Market appears to Bend. Salary range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, DOE. Eligible for benefits as described below. This role reports to the Yard/Logistics Supervisor.

What this role looks like

This role is responsible for driving trucks to pickup and deliver products and for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Other related duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Drive trucks to pick up and deliver products as required.
• Support yard and logistics operations under the supervision of the Yard/Logistics Supervisor.
• Demonstrate Core Values in daily work and interactions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Requires basic math, reading and writing skills.
• On-the-job training to perform the duties of the job.
• Ability to operate forklifts and drive a variety of trucks including doubles, T & T semis.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a valid Oregon CDL driver's license and a good driving record; certification to operate a sit-down forklift is required.
• Predictable and regular attendance is required.
