Are you a warm and welcoming individual with a passion for creating a positive impact on the lives of seniors? We are searching for a Receptionist to be the friendly first impression for visitors of Clark Retirement. This part-time role offers an opportunity to contribute hospitality and compassion and help create joyful moments in residents’ lives. The starting wage for this position is up to $16 per hour.

Schedule

This position is every Monday and Friday, 4pm-8pm and every Saturday, 8am-4pm.

Essential Job Functions

  • Operates multi-line phone system and answers calls promptly in a polite, personal, and friendly manner.
  • Transfer calls to appropriate areas/staff; take messages as needed and ensure messages reach the correct staff/area.
  • Greets and monitors visitors at the main entrance and directs them to the appropriate individual; ensures visitors and contractors sign in and wear badges according to policy.
  • Monitor emergency situations, direct staff to emergencies, call emergency personnel as needed, and use the overhead paging system to alert residents/visitors/staff.
  • Maintain files of residents’ names and room locations for the visitor entry system, phone bridge system, mail room, reception area, and coat room.
  • Keep mailboxes in the post office and coat room up to date.
  • Maintain LOA (leave of absence), memorial service lists, birthday/anniversary lists and publish/send as appropriate.
  • Prepare Daily Clark What’s Happenings for the next day with assistance from the Executive Assistant and Life Enrichment.
  • Comply with HIPAA in all communications and other aspects of the position.
  • Supervise package and flower deliveries.
  • Assist with various typing, reporting requirements, computer, and other functions for supervisor and any department as assigned.
  • Conduct wellness checks as needed.
  • Notify care staff of any concerns regarding resident well-being or safety.
  • Other duties as assigned.
