Job Title: Receptionist

Job Description Summary: Performs a variety of operational and administrative functions in support of the Facility Services organization and in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, guidelines, and objectives. This position provides support in the areas of access control to the facility, employee moves, data tracking, reporting, dispatching, event support and daily operations coordination. Works with all employee levels across the company. This is a part-time role, M-F 10am-3:45pm.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing and organizing of the front desk activities.
  • Establish interpersonal relationships and communicate effectively as the first point of contact for customers.
  • Assist employees with special requests and act as an employee relations liaison to provide helpful and accurate information to employees and visitors.
  • Provide customer service as a top priority when interacting with coworkers and visitors.
  • Be the first point of contact for employees, customers, candidates, and vendors.
  • Offer a friendly, helpful, engaging experience for every visitor at the front desk.
  • Greet visitors and maintain the visitor sign-in process using the Envoy system.
  • Issue temporary badges for employees, vendors, contractors; direct visitors appropriately and notify company personnel of visitor arrival.
  • Follow established protocol to protect customer and employee privacy when speaking with all callers while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Perform multiple administrative tasks including event support and assisting with property management ticket requests.
  • Assist with onsite meetings, providing support such as setup and teardown of meetings, lunches, HHs, or town halls, printing, and assisting coworkers or visitors.
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages, print FedEx labels, create shipments/pickups, and maintain the package storage areas.
  • Keep the reception area clean and tidy and decorate for occasions and holidays.
  • Assist coworkers or stakeholders with event or project needs (printing, signage, etc.).

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-3 years’ experience required
  • Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
  • Ability to keep information organized and confidential
  • Experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and similar Google platforms

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

  • Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • The position requires a well-spoken individual.
  • Ability to read and understand information presented orally and in writing.

Benefits and Compensation

Cushman & Wakefield provides eligible employees with a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid/unpaid time away from work. The compensation range for this role is $16.50 - $29.00 hourly and will depend on factors such as location, eligibility, experience, and qualifications.
