Ideally located across from Mercedes-Benz Stadium and within walking distance of the Georgia World Congress Center, Hotel Phoenix stands at the heart of one of Downtown Atlantas most ambitious developments.
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing and Communications Manager to lead our hotels brand presence across digital platforms, public relations, and guest communications. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and revenue. The ideal candidate is a hands-on marketer with a strong background in digital marketing, social media, CRM, public relations, and event management and is comfortable collaborating with external partner agencies branding, public relations, digital and social.
Key Responsibilities Digital Marketing & Social Media Oversees digital agency in managing digital marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels (Google Ads, Meta, etc.)
Oversees, recommends and approves content creation and scheduling for all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) in working with the partner agency
Monitor analytics and performance metrics to optimize campaigns and grow engagement
Public Relations & Brand Management Coordinate with all agencies to ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity
Approves press releases, media kits, and hotel announcements
Works with the public relations agency in the coordination of media, influencers, and ambassador identification and partnership stays
Establishes deliverables for these stays/collaborations
Identifies like-minded brands to help expand the hotel footprint beyond the four walls - consider fashion, wellness, sustainability, art, food and beverage
Program guest experiences throughout the hotel art tours, resident artist reception, pre-game events, pool deck yoga
CRM & Guest Communications Manage CRM platforms to segment audiences and deploy targeted email campaigns
Analyze guest data to personalize communications and enhance loyalty
Develops a monthly calendar of communication among the various audiences in house guests, consortia partners, etc.
Collaborate with Sales and Reservations to align messaging across touchpoints
Creative & Design Create visual assets using Canva, Photoshop, and PowerPoint for presentations, social media, and marketing collateral
Ensure all creative materials align with brand standards and support campaign goals
Identify photographers and schedule photoshoots lifestyle and architecture for website, social and promotional use
Assist the sales team in sourcing promotional items, giveaways and other branded merchandise
Budgets Responsible for monthly review of Sales and Marketing expenses, keeping within 5% of budgeted guidelines
Events Collaborate with the sales teams, PR agency and food and beverage in the creation and development of special events
Qualifications Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field
35 years of experience in hospitality marketing or a related industry
Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and PowerPoint
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and social media platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with branding agencies and external creative partners
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Skills Familiarity with hotel PMS and CRM systems (e.g., Opera, HMS, Revinate, Salesforce)
Knowledge of SEO/SEM best practices
Experience with photography and video editing is a plus
