Overview

The Electrician position works under the general supervision of the Maintenance Operations Supervisor, but performs most duties independently. This position is with in the Facility Maintenance Service Line, located at the Manchester VHA in New Hampshire.

Responsibilities

The incumbent is assigned a wide variety of work orders/duties of a journeyman electrician involving installation, modification, repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance and testing of complex electrical systems, circuits, equipment, appliances, controls, components, lighting fixtures and fire alarm systems.
