Human Resources Assistant Job at Sarasota Memorial Health Care System in Sarasot

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic team at the Main Campus in Sarasota. Responsibilities include: Receiving incoming visitors and answering various inquiries in all areas of human resources; managing HR telephone and email correspondence; facilitating gathering and maintenance of records and logs (including new hire and benefits records); performing clerical duties related to departmental needs; notarizing documents for new hires and employees.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year related experience, preferably in the Human Resources or employment office of a similarly sized health care organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer effective customer service skills and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of staff and the public, both in person and by telephone.
• Prefer demonstrated knowledge of PC/software applications and word processing skills.
• Prefer knowledge of HRIS and/or Applicant Tracking System(s).
• Prefer ability to exercise sound discretionary judgment and effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Prefer ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.
• Prefer ability to satisfactorily manage multiple duties simultaneously.
• Prefer Notary Public.

Mandatory Education

HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate

Preferred Education

AD: Associate's Degree
