Join a reputable manufacturing company in Cedar City, UT, specializing in precision-machined components and assemblies for aerospace, medical, and recreational industries. As a Mechanic, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing CNC equipment, horizontal mills, Swiss turning machines, multi-axis machines, and 5-axis machines in a 24/6 production facility. This position offers hands-on experience, opportunities to grow your technical expertise, and work closely with an experienced lead mechanic in a professional, structured environment. Salary Range: $62,400 - $68,640 / year DOE

Mechanic Requirements:
  • 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience, ideally in industrial or production environments (millwrights, maintenance mechanics, food & beverage, heavy equipment, or warehouse experience)
  • Ability to perform overhauls, turnarounds, and independent equipment repairs
  • Familiarity with CNC equipment, multi-axis machinery, and other precision tools
  • Basic electromechanical knowledge (solenoids, motors, switches) highly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety protocols
  • Ability to work a structured shift schedule, including occasional overtime and weekends
  • Alignment with professional, conservative workplace culture (strict dress code, no visible tattoos or piercings, hair, and grooming standards)
  • Willingness to undergo training and obtain certifications for career advancement
Mechanic Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, repair, and overhaul CNC and multi-axis machinery to ensure continuous production
  • Follow strict safety and quality procedures while performing maintenance tasks
  • Keep the work environment clean, organized, and professional
  • Learn and utilize the company's proprietary ERP system, HiQA inspection tool, and other software for maintenance tracking
  • Collaborate with the lead mechanic and Quality Assurance Manager to ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Support the 24/6 production schedule with reliability and flexibility
