With extensive development and manufacturing expertise and a wide range of flavors, ingredients, and colors available, we can work with complex formulations to help create engaging new products consumers will love. The Inventory Clerks main focus is inventory cycle counting and to track and monitor inventory within the warehouse. Inventory Clerks require strong reliance on accuracy, control, monitoring, and coordination to confirm inventory & investigate count discrepancies. This position is 100% based on-site in Manassas, VA and regular working hours are M-F 9AM-5:30PM. The Role
Support Inventory Control Mgr. to effectively and consistently improve the current goals. Perform physical cycle counts daily across multiple departments Perform end of month physical counts of certain material. Support return to stock process. In addition to picking process Support Inventory Control Mgr. to perform root cause analysis where discrepancies are detected. Support Inventory Control Mgr. on inventory problems or discrepancies found. Document defects precisely. Other duties assigned. The Candidate
High School diploma or GED required Associates Degree Business or Supply Chain Mgmt. preferred but not required 5+ years of relevant inventory management/warehouse experience preferred Experience in an ERP system (inventory transactions and reconciliation. Examples are Sage, JDE, SAP etc) highly preferred Comfortable using math for majority of shift Solid understanding on foundation of a bill of materials Previous experience working in inventory department and cycle counting preferred Be able to interpret production schedule for planning WMS & Bizdesk knowledge preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to effectively meet scheduled and ad-hoc project deadlines While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
