We're working with a
national food manufacturer
that supplies nutritious, great-tasting products across the US. They're growing fast and investing heavily in their operations - and now they're looking for a
Continuous Improvement Manager
to join their plant team in Owensboro, KY. This is a
hands-on role
at the heart of the manufacturing process. You'll be driving Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, cutting waste, improving safety, and boosting productivity. If you enjoy solving problems, working with cross-functional teams, and making real changes on the shop floor, this could be the perfect fit.
The Opportunity
Lead and support
process improvement projects
across the plant.
Use tools like
Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and Value Stream Mapping
to streamline operations.
Conduct
time studies, root cause analyses, and process mapping
to identify bottlenecks.
Partner with operations, quality, and engineering teams to
implement best practices .
Track project outcomes, report on KPIs, and
deliver measurable cost savings .
Act as a
change agent
- coaching, training, and building a culture of Continuous Improvement.
What We're Looking For
5+ years' experience in
food or manufacturing environments
with a focus on process improvement.
Strong knowledge of
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other CI tools
(Green Belt preferred).
Skilled in
data analysis, problem-solving, and influencing others without authority .
Comfortable working in a
fast-paced plant environment .
Bonus points if you bring
meat processing experience, GMP knowledge, or bilingual (English/Spanish)
skills.
