We're working with a cutting-edge robotics start-up that’s pushing the boundaries of humanoid robotics, and we're looking to connect with an exceptional
Application Team Lead
to help bring advanced robotics systems to life.
This is a unique opportunity to join at the forefront of robotics innovation, where you’ll not only lead a small team but also remain hands-on with code, integration, and debugging. The Role As
Application Team Lead , you’ll: Develop and maintain top-level robot application code. Integrate modules across controls, navigation, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and platform systems. Shape and evolve application-side architecture and interfaces. Make pragmatic technical decisions to accelerate delivery. Collaborate with product teams on trade-offs and priorities. Debug systems in both simulation and hardware. Occasionally travel to customer sites for testing and validation.
What We’re Looking For 5+ years’ experience in robotics or a related field. Strong C++ skills and experience building production systems. Solid understanding of robotic systems: control, navigation, perception, and learning. ROS/ROS2 or equivalent middleware experience. Ability to read, understand, and integrate code from multiple teams. Willingness to get hands-on with robots, tools, and test setups. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have: Experience deploying robots in the field. Knowledge of telemetry, logging, and diagnostics. Familiarity with operator UX and teleoperation systems. Comfort working under uncertainty and real-world constraints.
