Grimaldi Law Firm Careers
We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced paralegal to play an important role on our legal team. You'll draft legal documents such as affidavits, prepare briefs, conduct legal research for trial preparation, and keep case files and other important information neatly organized and easily accessible. $60,000 - $70,000, depending on experience plus benefits Responsibilities:
Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings such as complaints, interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavits, under the supervision of a lawyer
Coordinate law office activity, including the drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers
Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls and keeping our case filing system organized so all documents are readily accessible
Aid lawyers in trial preparation by preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, conducting research on legal articles, and assisting with client meetings and filing motions
Hold client interviews to gather information about their legal problems
Organize & Manage Matters:
Maintain files, docket events, and ensure smooth case flow. Draft & Review Documents:
Prepare
trusts, wills, and estate planning documents
with precision for attorney review. Support Clients:
Communicate updates, gather information, and assist clients with form completion. Administrative Support:
Assist with e-filing, phone coverage, scheduling, and notarizing documents. Team Collaboration:
Participate in weekly case management meetings and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented culture. Qualifications:
3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
Strong preference for candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have an advanced paralegal education
Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills
Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar
Most Important:
2-5 years of Florida Estate Planning experience, including trust drafting, is non-negotiable.
Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
Strong preference for candidates with
advanced paralegal education or certification . Excellent oral and written communication skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required. Strong time management and organizational skills. Proficiency with
WealthCounsel
and/or
Westlaw Form Builder
(or similar document-building software). Experience with
Clio Manage
(or similar case management software). Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar) preferred. Typing speed:
50–100 WPM required.
