The annual salary range for this role is $120K to $150K. The final salary for this role will be based on a candidate's experience, specific skills relevant to this role. The company's philosophy is a "pay for performance" compensation strategy.
The Opportunity - Warehouse Manager – Summary of Responsibilities and Expectations
Oversee the following processes: Storage and Organization of Warehouse Inventory Receiving Inventory, Shipping Customer Orders, & Warehouse Transfers Order Picking Inventory Management Delegate responsibilities and educate staff on systems to assist with understanding how to maximize efficiency and minimize the potential for errors which could disrupt the customer experience Take an active role in training new warehouse staff, and performance management of existing staff Task and oversee warehouse staff members checking for accuracy, promoting a sense of urgency, and conformance to procedures. Take remedial action if necessary Be involved in scheduling and communicate staffing needs to tackle projects and daily tasks Promote a culture of Safety and Cleanliness in the warehouse Conduct periodic safety meetings & forklift training sessions with warehouse staff Conduct recurring inventory counts to ensure system accuracy and proper product placement Implement new systems to help improve operations (binning/product location, cycle counts, etc.) Work with management in planning of warehouse layout, taking into consideration turnover, size, weight, and other related factors of stored items Leverage experience of management team, sales staff, and delivery team to develop efficient workflows for warehousing & showroom activities Communicate effectively with management & purchasing teams to flag slow moving inventory or stock level adjustments to more efficiently utilize warehouse space Participation in Dispatch activities (checking out daily delivery runs, oversee picking, uncrating, and staging of product for next day's deliveries) Willing/able to work as a team but also to take initiative on projects and run with it Cross train on warehouse/shipping procedures in order to provide additional support in the event of staff outages
Goals: Implementation of new systems, process/facility improvement, SOP documentation and an interest/ability to help us continue to scale and grow. Some of the improvements we anticipate on the horizon are below.

Qualifications
3-5 years
of warehouse or distribution management experience Previous experience in a
hybrid distribution and showroom environment
is a plus Demonstrated experience in overseeing both
warehouse operations
(inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping) and
showroom management
(product display, customer interaction, and showroom logistics) Inventory Management:
Proficient in maintaining inventory levels, implementing stock rotation, and ensuring accuracy of stock records Order Fulfillment:
Experience with picking, packing, and shipping orders; familiarity with optimizing the order-to-shipment process for speed and accuracy Logistics Coordination:
Strong understanding of supply chain processes, from inbound delivery and stocking to outbound shipment Warehouse Safety & Compliance:
Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and proper handling of hazardous materials (if applicable) Warehouse Technology:
Experience with warehouse management software (WMS), barcode systems, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred Product Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of the products being displayed, including their specifications, uses, and key selling points Sales Support:
Support sales teams in facilitating smooth transitions from showroom to delivery. Manage inventory levels for showroom floor models Staff Management:
Proven experience in hiring, training, and managing warehouse staff, as well as showroom associates Conflict Resolution:
Strong skills in resolving conflicts and maintaining a positive working environment Training & Development:
Ability to create training programs to ensure all staff are up-to-date with best practices in warehouse operations and showroom management Scheduling & Labor Management:
Ability to create efficient schedules for warehouse and showroom employees to meet business needs Process Optimization:
Ability to assess and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical skills for identifying bottlenecks, troubleshooting issues, and making data-driven decisions. KPIs & Performance Metrics:
Experience in setting and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for warehouse efficiency, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction Cross-functional Collaboration:
Ability to collaborate with sales teams, showroom managers, logistics providers, and other departments Clear Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills to manage inventory reports, communicate with external suppliers, and direct team activities Customer Interaction:
Comfortable interacting with customers, especially in a showroom setting, to provide product knowledge and facilitate sales. MS Office Suite:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and communication. Data Analysis:
Experience with analyzing data to identify trends, track warehouse performance, and make operational improvements. Attention to Detail:
Precision in tracking inventory, fulfilling orders, and ensuring accurate product displays. Adaptability:
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where the needs of the distribution and showroom areas may change rapidly. Time Management:
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, especially in a setting where both warehouse and showroom operations need to be balanced.
