Overview
The firm is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with substantial Family Law experience to join its Orlando office. This attorney will take the lead on a diverse caseload and play a visible role in court, handling matters across Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and surrounding counties. The position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with access to junior staff, administrative support, and state-of-the-art case management tools (Filevine, Lead Docket).
Duties
Lead all aspects of case management and litigation strategy.
Handle contested and uncontested dissolutions, paternity and custody disputes, child support cases, modifications/enforcement, domestic violence injunctions, and DCF/shelter proceedings.
Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and reports.
Appear regularly in court for hearings, trials, and conferences.
Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate with paralegals and staff.
Communicate proactively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
Uphold the firm’s high standards of professionalism, ethics, and client service.
Experience
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Member in good standing with the
Florida Bar . Minimum
3 years of Family Law experience . Strong advocacy, negotiation, and client management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Filevine, and Lead Docket. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Board Certification in Marital & Family Law
(preferred but not required).
