Kratos is seeking a motivated Security Administrator 2 to support the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and/or Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) in the day-to-day operations of a dynamic security program. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals new to the field of Industrial Security who are eager to learn and grow within a defense contractor environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and ready to learn government security procedures under the guidance of experienced security professionals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide daily security support in alignment with NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), ICDs, and DoD directives Follow and enforce company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and security policies Support physical security functions, including escorting, access control, and entry/exit inspections Assist with alarm system monitoring, inspections, and after-hours response Administer badge and access control systems Conduct classification reviews using Security Classification Guides (SCGs) and source documents Perform document reproduction, courier duties, and logging Handle destruction of classified materials and control of electronic media and data transfers Maintain personnel security records, billet tracking, and other administrative files Prepare and review security documentation, such as:
Visit certifications SF-86s or equivalent Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) Pre-screening questionnaires (PSQs)
Maintain and update security databases and tools (e.g., DISS, SIMS, NBIS, NISS, POA&Ms, JADE, SC, ACCS, SCINet, suspense trackers) Support and document self-inspections, incident reports, and security discrepancies Conduct and track security education briefings, including indoctrinations, refresher training, and debriefs Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones, managing logs, preparing reports, and supporting meetings Perform other duties as assigned by the FSO, CPSO, or Security Managers Experience and Skills: US Citizenship Current/Active TOP-SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills Knowledgeable on Microsoft Office software Must be able to maintain TS clearance FSO training (possessing facilities), or completed within 6 months of hiring Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience in Personnel Security Experience in Physical Security Experience in Industrial Security Experience working with IC and DoD customers Experience working with DISS, NBIS, and NISS CDSE Certifications Previous government program security experience Experience with SIMs, SWFT, ACS, IDS, NBIS, NISS, JADE, SC, SCINet Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Familiarity with the NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), DoDM 5205.07, ICS/ICD Competitive salary based on experience and education Salary Range: $69,000-$78,000 Job Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance Coverage Life/ADD & Short/Long Term Disability Insurance 401(k) Savings Plan Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) Paid Time-Off (PTO) Holidays Education Reimbursement
