Position Summary - Project Manager (HVAC & Mechanical Construction)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in commercial HVAC and mechanical construction. This role involves managing both large and small projects, coordinating multiple jobs simultaneously, and providing leadership to project engineers. You will work closely with field staff to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

The ideal candidate exercises sound judgment, works independently within established processes, and is eager to learn and contribute to team success. You bring valuable experience but remain open to new methods and collaborative learning. You're hands-on, capable of executing all levels of project management responsibilities, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain client relationships and provide regular project updates.
  • Manage budget reports, cost and revenue projections, and change orders.
  • Participate in internal project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Ensure project scope and direction remain on schedule.
  • Prepare budget analysis reports and other necessary documentation.
  • Mentor and delegate tasks to Project Engineers, providing coaching and performance feedback.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of relevant project management experience.
  • Proven ability to lead small teams.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., CADD, ERP, Microsoft Office, Excel).
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating field operations.
