Hendersonville, North Carolina Position Overview: The SLP will provide targeted speech and language therapy services to elementary school students. This role requires collaboration with educators and parents to facilitate individualized plans aimed at enhancing communication skills. Experience with VOCO pitch therapy is beneficial to support student progress effectively. Qualifications: Valid North Carolina SLP license with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Experience working in an elementary school setting Familiarity with VOCO pitch therapy techniques Strong communication and collaborative skills Ability to deliver effective, student-centered therapy Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments and screenings Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Utilize VOCO pitch therapy tools to support student goals Monitor and document student progress regularly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to create supportive learning environments Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed Benefits: Consistent part-time schedule (10 hours weekly) Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in student communication skills Contract-based role with potential for renewal Work in a supportive elementary school environment Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for this rewarding contract position.
