Job Description We are seeking a
Principal Systems Analyst
to join the Risk Workstation Product Area to aid in the development of high-quality applications servicing Risk and other business units. You will have the opportunity to be part of the team to modernize this critical application that allows the firm to manage many types of risks. Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, etc. or equivalent work experience
Working in investment banking, finance, venture capital, asset management, or wealth management (Required)
5+ years of strong Systems Analysis experience with a focus in discovering and designing new innovative solutions with latest technologies
Experience in software development in an Agile delivery environment and deep understanding of the software life cycle stages.
Effectively communicate technical concepts to the internal partners inside and outside of the Scrum team
Strong SQL skills, ability to write queries
Strong analytical skills to research and review existing systems and recommend designs
Experience working with QA/QA teams on testing needs.
Testing experience with tools like Jasmine, Selenium, Cucumber, Junit (Nice to Have)
Familiarity or knowledge of different tech-stacks (Angular, Java, etc.)
Experience working with design and testing of APIs, database/SQL, Cloud environments
Adept at analyzing existing systems and applications to advise design of new, modern digital products
Ability to lead formal and informal presentations in various settings; one-on-one, small, and large groups, with peers, and senior management
Ability to communicate effectively with and to influence team members and external groups
Ability to effectively navigate the organization to achieve outcomes
Proven ability to work on multiple efforts simultaneously
Strong investigation and problem-solving skills
Desire to be detailed, highly adaptive and committed to quality
The Skills You Bring UML/Design/Systems design
Familiar with Java, Angular, HTML, CSS, Typescript, JavaScript, and Spring.
Knowledge of consuming HTTP based APIs/RESTful JSON.
Innovative mindset to contribute and deliver new ideas and solutions.
Good interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and data mining skills.
Exposure to Oracle, and ability to write simple SQL queries.
Financial services knowledge a plus

The base salary range for this position is $89,000-$150,000 per year.
Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidates relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
