• Performs CAT Scan procedures following protocols established by the Radiologist • Operates the CT scanner during IR procedures in the CT department. • Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies and deficiencies. • Adheres to all Infection Prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed. • Stays current and participates departmental training offered. • through polite communication with all co- workers/customers. • Understands and appreciates the need to provide good customer service, both internal and external. • Participates in clinical activities (i.e. assists with patient flow/care, helps to optimize throughput of patients via Radiology Transport). • Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance with life safety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and Infection Prevention requirements. • Participates in Departmental On Call and Holiday Requirements. Experience with Pediatrics and Cardiac preferred but not necessary Graduate of AMA Approved Radiologic Technologist Program. Must be enrolled in a qualified Computed Tomography program Current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). Current NJ-RADTECH License (Radiologic Technologist). ARRT Board Certified in Computed Tomography preferred.
